TACT–School of Biotech Sciences is affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
The institution’s B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. Biotechnology programmes are offered under the Utkal University curriculum. The M.Sc. Biotechnology programme was introduced in 2002–03 alongside the Post Graduate Department of Utkal University, with B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology following in 2004.
Under the Institutional Development Plan, the institution aims to transition from an affiliated college to a fully autonomous institution, with the academic flexibility to design multidisciplinary and future-oriented programmes.
