The Chemistry Lab serves B.Sc. Biotechnology (Hons.) students with basic measuring and analytical chemistry apparatus that allows a good study of all the branches of chemistry, with every experiment run under the supervision of skilled instructors.

Experiments conducted
Key experiments include elemental detection, organic compound testing (carboxylic, carbohydrate, phenolic, alcoholic, nitro, amine and amide group tests), unknown organic compound analysis via melting/boiling point measurement, iron and copper estimation, radical analysis (Groups I–V), acid and base radical testing, calcium and barium estimation, and determination of hypo and acetic acid solution strengths.
